A Drop in the Sea

 
This luminous piece is inspired by the ripple effect of a single drop falling into the ocean—a moment of contact that sends energy far beyond its point of impact. A Drop in the Sea explores how even the smallest actions create waves, just as each of us leaves a lasting imprint on the world around us.
Layer upon layer of shimmering blue and white acrylic paint flows across a wavelike base of soft purples and silvers, creating a sense of depth and fluid motion. Scattered across the surface, opaque white and blue fused glass "V" shapes echo the spray and movement of sea foam suspended in time.
Both dynamic and meditative, this work is a reminder of the quiet power held in every gesture, every drop, every one of us.
