Red Moon

This is an exquisite painting both due to the intensity of it's color and due to the feeling of expansion it creates in the envirnment it is in.  The image came to my mind as a consequence of a lunar eclipse I failed to see. This brought to my mind the red moons that are spoken about in many culturesa nd that seem to hold so much magic and mystery. This painting, apart form the black, red and gold circles, has four smaller fused glass circles orbiting around. This large acrylic painting on MDF ( 48" by 48") adds  elegance to any space it occupies.
