Sancti explores the enduring power of symbolism and the evolving interpretations of sacred moments throughout time. Inspired by a personal meditation on legacy, transformation, and collective memory, the piece evokes the image of flowing lifeblood—energy that connects, nourishes, and renews.
The composition features concentric circular forms rendered in layers of red, ochre, and violet, evoking both the sacred and the visceral. At its core, dark fused glass elements form a vertical axis that binds the work together, referencing the body, ritual, and the continuity of spirit through generations. The central red line pulses like a life force, suggesting both grounding and transcendence.
Sancti invites the viewer to consider how meaning shifts across time and culture—and how the same event can carry infinite emotional and spiritual echoes.
