Wishes in the Wind

The third painting in this series began as a study in color—an exploration of how soft yellow light can give way to rich viridian hues, eventually deepening into tranquil blue at the edges. But as the piece took shape, it began to reveal something else: the gentle, fleeting beauty of a dandelion in motion.
Delicate clusters and lines of clear fused glass dance across the surface, representing dandelion seeds—some still anchored to the bloom, others floating freely into the unknown, like whispered wishes released into the wind. The layered acrylic background on plywood adds depth and movement, evoking both stillness and transformation.
Wishes in the Wind is a gentle reminder of impermanence, hope, and the quiet power of letting go.
