Experiment 1

This is a flowing painting in which the glass on the surface seems to be ascending and then plummeting down. It provides a lot of visual stimulation, both due to the intense color contrast and the clear definition of each area. This was one of the first experiments in transforming one existing painting by changing  its size and adding fused glass elements to the surface.
The painting combines rich layers of turquoise, purple, ochre, orange and silver acrylic on plywood, accented with green,  and clear fused bottle pieces  that add movement to the surface.
